2024 suspects, Yari Montella
and Adrian Huertas, on their
Barni Spark and Aruba Ducatis,
respectively. In race one, Huer-
tas would run out an eventual
clear winner, but behind was a
superb knock-down and drag-
out fight between eventual
second-placed Valentin Debise
(Evan Bros Yamaha), Stefano
"Ten Kate Yamaha" Manzi and a
rapidly slowing Montella.
In the second race on Sunday,
Huertas would break free of
the pack to take a win by 2.821
seconds.
Behind, the action was a bit
tasty at times, with Manzi push-
ing the front visibly in his pursuit
of personal glory.
Behind him, on the final lap,
Montella and Debise "outbroke"
each other into T1, with Debise
mark of the season. He has 303
points, Bulega 239, Bautista 199,
Lowes 179 and Locatelli 145.
WorldSSP
Pre-race in Czechia, there
was the news that the Ducati
WorldSSP machines would
finally be pegged back a little in
one specific area of their throttle
opening. Between 62 mph and
93 mph, the Ducatis have lost
seven percent of their previous
throttle-opening capability, to
improve the balance between
the many and various engine
concepts at play in this class.
They still look like the best
bikes to be on—one of them at
least—as the winning results
were to demonstrate.

the bike," he said. "I got going
pretty good in the Superpole
race and was able to run a clean
race without many mistakes.
That meant I was feeling pretty
good heading into race two. I
got a good start, but I just lack
the experience to be able to
throw down fast laps early on.
The overall pace for me was
consistent and around 10 sec

onds faster than race one. I am
very happy about that.

with the team and the fans.
Thank you to everybody for mak-
ing my debut in World Superbike
