amaha has given its YZ250FX and
WR250F off-road bikes a significant
chassis and suspension makeover
for 2025. Both bikes are based closely on
the latest version of the YZ250F moto-
crosser; the FX is tuned more for GNCC-
type closed-course racing, and the WR is
tuned more for longer-distance enduros
and technical trail riding.
Both bikes have "completely rede
-
signed" frames with a lower center of
gravity "for enhanced maneuverability and
easier reach to the ground in tight, tricky
conditions," says Yamaha. New, flatter
and more narrow bodywork "eases rider
movement and updated ergonomics offer
increased legroom and more comfort."
Their KYB suspensions have been
refined and now include a hand-adjustable
knob on the fork for toolless compression
adjustment.
Yamaha revised its Yamaha Power Tun
-
er App, which it says is more user-friendly.
It now has an intuitive new "Simple Tun-
ing" slide bar, helpful new engine and
suspension tuning guides, and additional
new features, like a new four-level select
-
able Traction Control System controlled
through the Power Tuner App.
The 2025 Yamaha YZ250FX and
WR250F will be available in October with
MSRPs of $9099.
