California State Parks has issued a full closure for the Hun - gry Valley State Vehicular Rec- reation Area (SVRA) in Gorman, California. CN VOLUME ISSUE JULY , P33 Kazakhstan GP Canceled, Misano To Fill In T he Kazakhstan Grand Prix will be replaced on the 2024 Mo- toGP calendar by a second round at Misano. It's the third time the Kazakhstan race has been postponed since it was originally included on the calendar. First scheduled to make its debut in 2023, the Sokol event was postponed until July this year because the circuit was not ready in time. However, flooding in the area caused the race to again be postponed. Although MotoGP believed it could replace the can - celed Indian GP in September, the lack of guarantees offered by the local organizers meant MotoGP decided to call off the Kazakhstan event entirely. It becomes the third grand prix of the season to be can - celed, following India and Argen- tina. The calendar now has 20 events instead of the original 22. In Kazakhstan's place, Mo- toGP announced a second grand prix at Misano. The city will host the San Marino GP on Septem- ber 6-8, two weeks before the second event on September 20- 22. The new event will be named the Emilia-Romagna GP. CN The Kazakhstan MotoGP round has again been canceled. Misano (pictured) will instead host the race.
