We went dual sport riding in Hawaii. Cycle News was oŽered Honda
XR650Ls and took a lap around Kauai with Two Wheels Dual-Sport
Adventure, and we told you what it was like... Steve Morehead got
back to his winning ways at the I-96 Half-Mile. Scott Parker was
second, and Will Davis was third... Mick Doohan rolled on with
another win at the Italian Grand Prix... We interviewed Italian oŽ-road
star Davide Trolli.
Road racing, more specifically, Laguna Seca was featured in
issue number 28 20 years ago. Chris Vermeulen swept the
World Superbike races and Ben Bostom won the AMA Superbike
National. Bostrom also won the F-Xtreme race and Tommy
Hayden and Roger Lee Hayden went 1-2 in Superstock... We
tested the 2004 Husqvarna TE 450 oŽ-roader... We toured
Death Valley on BMW R 1200 GSs.
