"I knew getting up front would
be important in that second
moto with it being a little slick,"
Cochran said. "I got out front
and put down some good laps
pretty early and just let the race
come to me. It felt like I was
back at an amateur race. I just
wanted to get to the line to say
I led a lap and then just kept
clicking them off lap by lap."
Max Anstie finished fourth
overall and was third in moto
two, his first podium as a
member of the Monster Energy
Star Racing Yamaha team. Dilan
Schwartz's 10-6 proved good
enough for fifth overall, a career
best for the Toyota Redlands/
Casey Cochran finished on
the podium with a career-best
third 250MX overall.
