Losing A Legend
When things got tough, Ed Lojak got going.
The AMA Hall of Fame off-road racer (left),
pictured here at the 1983 ISDE in Wales
alongside Mark Hyde, dominated GNCC
racing in the 1980s and was a four-time ISDE
medalist, including being recognized as the
top American finisher in one of the toughest
ISDE ever in Czechoslovakia in 1982. Lojak,
a bona fide off-road racing legend, passed
away at the age of 63 on July 8.
