ROUND 10 / JULY 6, 2024 DUQUOIN STATE FAIRGROUNDS / DUQUOIN, ILLINOIS FLAT TRACK I PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN FLAT TRACK P100 70 DECLAN BENDER 6TH SUPERTWINS GOMR's Declan Bender took the best of his four rookie top 10s with a sixth- place run in front of his home fans. Still, Bender wasn't completely satis- fied after hoping to stick with the lead group and getting edged to the line for fifth. He said, "The finish wasn't quite as good as we were hoping, but that just goes to show you the caliber of the top guys. We just need to work on a couple things and be better for the next one. But yeah, we started off the day good and earned a second- row start. I put myself in a good spot and went out in the main and had a good battle with Davis [Fisher], Bran- don [Robinson] and Trevor [Brunner]. Just a huge shout out to the whole BriggsAuto.com team and a big thanks to Johnny and Sarah [Goad]. They've been amazing to me." MYOWNRACE 131 EVAN KELLEHER 5TH SINGLES Schaeffer's Motorsports' Evan Kelle- her showed immense promise at the '24 season opener in Daytona, where the rookie earned a second-row grid position in his series' debut. Unfortu- nately, the main event ended early for Dallas Daniels (32) put up a fight but couldn't outduel the master of the Miles, Mees. Brandon Price (92) held off Briar Bauman (3) for the last spot on the SuperTwins podium.
