ROUND 5 / JUNE 28-30, 2024 THE RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK/ SHELTON, WASHINGTON ROAD RACE I MOTOAMERICA AMA/FIM NORTH AMERICAN ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP P82 (Saddlemen/ Harley-Davidson) crashed out and left teammate Cory West to battle O'Hara and the two KWR/Harley-Davidson riders of Cody Wyman and Hayden Schultz. Wyman moved ahead at turn one with five laps to go, and, with three to go, AJ Peaslee (AJ Peaslee Racing KTM) crashed coming onto the front straight and brought out the red flag. The race was called and Wyman declared the winner, creating his own little piece of history as the first rider to win in four Mo - toAmerica classes (Stock 1000, Junior Cup, Twins Cup, Super Hooligans). Wyman triumphed ahead of teammate Schultz and O'Hara. There are just two rounds re - maining in the 2024 Stock 1000 Championship—Laguna Seca and New Jersey Motorsports Park—and Gillim still leads on 110 to Uribe's 104 and Yates' 87. SUPER HOOLIGAN Harley-Davidson firmly rained on the Indian Motorcycle parade in round two of the Super Hooligan National Championship at The Ridge. Tyler O'Hara (S&S/Indian Mo- torcycle) qualified on pole, and in a sodden race one, erstwhile title leader Troy Herfoss (S&S/ Indian Motorcycle), crashed out at turn three in a high-speed get- off, remounting without injury. Two corners later, Jake Lewis retain his Stock 1000 title, he better stop crashing and giving the others a sniff at his champi - onship lead. Another blunder for Hayden— his second crash in as many meetings—this time in race two after cruising to a 2.4-second win over OrangeCat Racing BMW's Jayson Uribe and Jones Honda's Ashton Yates, saw his title lead reduced to just six points. Uribe is now emerging as the main title threat as the Califor - nian firefighter/ model/ actor/ electrician took his second win of the season, 9.74 seconds up on Benjamin Smith (Flo4Law Racing Yamaha) and 12.39 sec - onds up on third-placed Yates. Jake Lewis made up for his race one crash to finally take a Super Hooligans race win on the Harley. Fellow Harley rider Cody Wyman took a first win in race one.
