had bolted early and race-one
winner Scholtz tracked him
down, setting himself up for an
inside pass for the lead at turn
title contenders, Strack Racing
Yamaha's Mathew Scholtz and
Rahal Ducati Moto's PJ Jacob

sen, clashed while disputing the
lead late in the race.
Fifth place went to a rather
lonely Sean Dylan Kelly on the
TopPro Racing BMW M 1000 RR,
four seconds behind Baz and
four up on Hayden Gillim, with
Fores and Beaubier next.
Jake Gagne suffered another
worrying result in race two in
ninth but hung onto second
in the title chase with Paasch
rounding out the top 10.
In the championship, Fong
holds sway on 158 to Gagne's
157. Petersen is third on 151
and Herrin is fourth on 149. Baz
rounds out the top five on 149.
