With Bagnaia and Martin pul-
verizing the rest of the field, the
focus soon shifted to the fight
for third. Marc Marquez initially
looked to have the final podium
place thanks to a nice pass on
Vinales at De Struben corner
on lap two. But Pedro Acosta
(Tech3 GasGas) and Fabio Di
Giannantonio (VR46 Ducati)
were also in the running, with
Di Giannantonio climbing to
fourth by lap six thanks to a
tidy move on the Aprilia of
Vinales at the final chicane.

Others were in disbelief at

the big screen outside turn five,
he did a 1'31 on lap 12, and I

gives us some insight into what areas
are most critical."

20 FABIO QUARTARARO
7TH/12TH MOTOGP
Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo dealt
with grip issues and was 12th in
Sunday's MotoGP. "I expected to do
better at the beginning, especially in
the first laps," Quartararo said. "With
the softs, the grip was bad. During
all the race, the grip was much less
than I expected. I couldn't really push.
Then at the end, I was feeling a bit
better from mid-race onwards, but the
pace was already too slow."
Bagnaia (1) won both the
Sprint and MotoGP races.
