Lawrence Brothers To Compete Down Under H unter and Jett Lawrence will compete in this year's AUSX Open Reboot at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on November 30. It will be the first time in a while that the factory Honda brothers will get to compete in front of their home crowd. The last AUSX Open event was held in 2019, after which it was postponed due to the pandemic. Jett Lawrence, said, "It was a special moment for me when I made my Supercross pro debut at the AUSX Open in 2019, and I am well overdue to race at home in front of the Aussie fans who have supported us so much in our journey. We made a few calls and are ecstatic to see it come [back] to life." Hunter added, "We've been lucky to have had so much sup - port from Australia throughout our racing careers and have wanted to go back and race at home for a while. This year, fi- nally, we have been able to make it happen, and we're especially excited to do it by bringing back an iconic event like the AUSX Open. I can't wait to see all the fans going wild in Marvel Sta- dium; it's going to be huge." And speaking of the AUSX, Eric Peronnard recently re-joined the organization as motorsport and strategic adviser. "Almost 10 years after helping the AME team launch the original AUSX Open, I am stoked to be back in Australia for the sequel," said Peronnard. "Both riders and Australian fans were so supportive with the original AUSX Open event, I'm confident the 2024 version will be just as big, if not even more well received, given the talent lined up to compete. "I couldn't miss being involved in an event of this caliber and can't wait to see it come to life at Marvel Stadium." For AUSX Open pre-sale sign-up, visit: www.ausxopen.com.au.
