After finishing a close fourth in Bridgeport, Bauman said, "The day was okay. I was always right there-ish but never quite the guy. I know I fast-qualified, but unfortunately for me, that doesn't mean a lot for me. I know the main event is what we need to hone in on. And honestly, I think that we did a good job for that main. Our bike is so stock that there are a lot of missing pieces for us to go with those leaders." 88 CHASE SAATHOFF 3RD SINGLES JPG Motorsports' Chase Saathoff found himself in another bare-knuckle brawl with rival and fellow Singles title hopeful Tom Drane for the lead for the bulk of the race, at least until reigning champion Kody Kopp went MYOWNRACE Jared Mees (1) had to fight Jarod Vanderkooi (20) and Daniels before finishing out the race in third.
