Briar Bauman once again demon-
strated that, while his raw talent keeps
him relevant in the podium fight pretty
much every weekend, his Rick Ware
Racing KTM 790 Duke requires further
refinement before he's able to say the
same about the championship fight
once again. After finishing a close
fourth in Bridgeport, Bauman said,
"The day was okay. I was always right
there-ish but never quite the guy. I
know I fast-qualified, but unfortunately
for me, that doesn't mean a lot for me.
I know the main event is what we need
to hone in on. And honestly, I think
that we did a good job for that main.
Our bike is so stock that there are a
lot of missing pieces for us to go with
those leaders."
