AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2024 F ollowing weeks of voting, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame announced the five inductees who will be honored during the 2024 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on October 10 in Pickerington, Ohio. The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class of 2024 is Mike Laffer - ty, Debbie Matthews, Mat Mladin, Rob Rasor and Kevin Windham. "This year's class represents a wide range of individuals who have helped push motorcycling forward, both as a sport and as a lifestyle," AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman said. "Without the contributions of these rac - ers, ambassadors and leaders, motorcycling would not be where it is today. We look forward to enshrining the legacies of these five outstanding motorcyclists into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame on October 10." The Induction Ceremony will headline the AMA's Hall of Fame Days, which is set for October 10-13, and will include an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Night and open house at the Hall of Fame Museum. The Induction Ceremony will take place at the nearby Violet Township Event Center on October 10, followed by a cocktail reception at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Dubach Named Recipient of 2024 Edison Dye Lifetime Achievement Award D oug Dubach has been named the recipient of the 2024 Edi- son Dye Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was started in 1997 by motocross legends Tom White and Bud Feldkamp and has honored numerous incred- ible recipients that have forever left their impression on the sport of motocross. Every Edison Dye Motocross Lifetime Achievement Award recipient receives an engraved monument alongside Glen Helen's legendary Walk of Fame. The Walk of Fame is located by the grand stands and is available for the public to visit. Built in 1997, the Walk of Fame is to honor and bring recognition to the pioneers of motocross and to keep their legacies alive.
