t was a day filled with drama at High Point
Raceway. You had two brothers, Jett and
Hunter Lawrence, battling fiercely for a
moto win, Jett fighting through pain from the
big crash he had at Hangtown two weeks
earlier, Chase Sexton in a position to chal
-
lenge Jett for a 450MX moto win, Haiden
Deegan coming through the pack to win the
first 250MX moto, Ty Masterpool squeaking
out his first career victory, and Mitch Pay-
ton's 24-year-old Pro Circuit Team reaching
a milestone 300th victory. To top things off,
Payton dedicated the achievement to his
father, who recently passed away.
Yes, this one was one to remember.
