Gillim Wins 2024 Loudon Classic H ayden Gillim won the dra- matic 2024 Loudon Classic at New Hampshire Speedway, NH, on Saturday, June 10. Gillim, the defending Mo - toAmerica King of The Baggers and Stock 1000 Champion, had to work for it, as he got a poor start on the Vesrah/Steel Commander Suzuki GSX-R750 and was forced to come back through the field, hunting down Vision Wheels M4 Ecstar Suzuki rider Tyler Scott and passing him on the 21st of 25 laps and sprinting away to a 1.5-second victory. Gillim's win netted the Ken - tuckian a handsome $55,000 prize money. Scott's second place saw $35,000 hit his bank account and third-placed Bobby Fong (Wrench Motorcycles Suzuki GSX-R750) took home $25,000 and sealed an all-Suzu - ki/Dunlop podium. In other classes, Tyler O'Hara (Indian Challenger RR) easily won the Outlaw Bagger catego - ry, earning $24,500 as the class winner. Jacob Crossman (April- ia) emerged victorious in the Pro Thunderbike class, and Eli Block secured first place in the Pro 500 Superbike category. CN OVERALL 1. Hayden Gillim (Suz) 2. Daley Takes Grand Bend Motorplex CSBK Round Win T he Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship witnessed a new Superbike win- ner on Sunday as Trevor Daley (Suzuki) secured his first double victory in a wet race two at the Grand Bend Motorplex. Daly won the opening race in the Economy Lube Pro Sport Bike class but excelled in the feature GP Bikes Pro Superbike category, capitalizing on the afternoon downpour. Initially, it seemed that race- one winner Sam Guerin (BMW) was set for a weekend sweep. He grabbed the holeshot and led the 14-time champion Jordan Szoke (Kawasaki) while the pole- sitter Ben Young (BMW) slipped to third and Daley ran fourth. A scare for Szoke on the first lap caused the pack to bunch up, allowing Daley past as he began chasing down Guerin. Daley attempted to take the lead on lap four but was initially denied by Guerin, who fought hard for his second career win and led for nearly half the race. However, on lap seven, Daley made a decisive move into turn eight, securing the race-winning overtake. Young executed a pair of passes on Szoke and Guerin to move into second. The three- time champion then caught up with his former Daytona team - mate, Guerin, setting the stage for a three-rider battle in the final five laps. In a strategic move, Daley navigated through lapped traffic early, placing a slower rider be - tween himself and the chasing duo. This move held up Young and Guerin, allowing Daley to win. Young came home for sec- ond, Guerin took third, and Szoke came home in fourth. CN
