WIND
IN THE
P46
(BMW) and eventual third-placed
Michael Dunlop (Honda).
But the icing on the cake for
Todd came in a shortened four-
lap Senior TT, with the 28-year-
old putting on a blistering per
-
formance to secure a massive
39-second win over Josh Brookes
(BMW) and Dean Harrison.
Todd, Harrison, Dunlop and Pe
-
ter Hickman were all in contention
early in the Senior TT, but Dunlop
retired before the end of lap one
with machine trouble, and Hick-
man, on course to break the lap
record on lap two, slid off at Ginger
Hall, thankfully without injury.
Todd, by now, was way out
in front and brought it home to
take TAS Racing's first Senior TT
win since Adrian Archibald's win
in 2004.
In the Sidecar class, it was
local brothers Ryan and Callum
Crowe who took back-to-back TT
wins and recorded the second
fastest Sidecar lap in history at
120.335 mph.
Following their success in
race one when they triumphed
by 26.8 seconds ahead of Pete
Founds and Jevan Walmsley,
with Alan Founds and Rhys Gib-
bons in third, the Crowe brothers
claimed their second win of the
event. The race was shortened
to two laps after the initial start
was red-flagged when newcom-
ers Todd Ellis and Emmanuelle
Clement went off at Waterworks.
Both the rider and passenger
were reported as okay; however,
their outfit was blocking the
road.
Ben Birchall and Kevin Rous
-
seau came home second, and
third went to Dave Molyneux and
Jake Roberts.
CN
Davey Todd's win in the Senior
TT was dominant, coming
home nearly 40 seconds ahead
of two-time British Superbike
Champion Josh Brookes.
The brothers Crowe, Ryan and Callum
were unstoppable in the Sidecar division.
