but two laps of moto one as
a slight mishap deep into the
race handed the advantage to a
closing Tom Vialle. The number
38, Deegan, rebounded with a
late-race charge and an aggres-
sive inside-line pass to retake
the lead with
only two laps
remaining. This moto win set
the tone for the day as a well-
played second in race two still
proved enough to earn him the
overall. With three overalls for
the season, he's now 23 points
up on second place.

250MX
The 250MX division continues
to be unpredictable, but some-
how, Haiden Deegan (Monster
Energy
Star Racing Yamaha)
keeps coming out on top.
He is now three for three in
terms of overall wins, earning
another moto victory in Satur-
day's process. Deegan led all
two. Unfortunately
for him, an
early crash dropped him back
in the ranks, resulting in 6-5 for
fifth overall. He also loses the
red plate in the process.
"It was nice to have the red
plate today, and I felt like we
had speed on our side, but it just
didn't come together in the mo-
tos," Sexton said. "Considering
the results,
we're still right there
in the championship."
Aaron Plessinger landed just
outside the top-five bubble,
finishing 5-8 for sixth place,
ahead of Jason Anderson's 10-4
for seventh. Malcolm Stewart,
