FIRST LOOK I 2025 KAWASAKI KX250
T
he 2025 KX250 receives many
of the same changes that the
KX450 received last year. The off-
road KX250X is also updated for '25.
The KX250 enters a new genera-
tion with the 2025 model. Its alumi-
num frame is now the same as the
KX4
50's and is over a half-pound
lighter.
The engine features a new center-
port exhaust and reworked cylin
-
der head. The air intake system is
straighter,
and thanks to a new side
cover, the air filter is easier to access.
Other highlights include smart-
phone connectivity, handlebar-
mounted traction
control switch, ODI
Lock-On grips, and new KTRC (trac-
tion control) and riding modes.
The 2025
off-road KX250X re-
ceives the same updates as the 2025
KX250
while retaining all its off-road
specifics, including its 18-inch rear
wheel, Dunlop AT81 tires, sealed
chain and sidestand.
Both bikes will be available this
summer. Pricing: KX250 $8999 and
KX250X $9099.
