Windham and Ricky Carmichael were the big winners at High Point
Team Green Spring Nationals.
Road racing made front-page news 20 years ago, with Miguel
Duhamel winning both AMA Superbike races as well as
Formula Xtreme at Road America; Tommy Hayden won his first
Superstock. Valentino Rossi won a wet one in Italy... Geo•
Aaron swept the AMA/NATC Trials in Colorado... Underdog
Shawn Gann was the unexpected Pro Stock Bike winner at the
Route 66 NHRA drag race... Stefan Everts won both MX1 motos
at the Grand Prix of France at St. Jean d'Angely.
