foss, as they both held a small
gap over O'Hara.
Herfoss executed a textbook
block pass on the last corner, but
Wyman got on the gas perfectly
and beat the Australian to the fin-
ish line by just 0.039 of a second.
O'Hara was third once again.
"A hundred percent, a must-
win today," Wyman said. "Usu-
ally, you have kind of two shots
at it. Yesterday, I was not
comfortable, so I didn't feel like
I really had a shot to fight for the
win. I knew it was all eggs in one
basket on Sunday. It's a mano-e-
mano type of thing. I love it. I'm
having the most enjoyment of
my entire racing career, racing
these baggers, and especially
this year, racing Troy. It's a fan

Wyman doesn't win any more

King of the Baggers race to
stem the bleeding caused by In-
dian's star recruit, Troy Herfoss.
Herfoss took the two-lap
Challenge race from Harley-
Davidson's James Rispoli and
had earlier made mincemeat of
the field in the pouring rain of
race one, crossing the line at a
canter to win by 5.24 seconds
from Wyman and Herfoss' S&S/
Indian Motorcycle teammate,
Tyler O'Hara, but in the dry of
race two, it was a different story.

run for the line. It was so close,
no one knew who won until
halfway around the cool-down
lap, with Scott getting the nar-
rowest of wins, measured at
an incredible one-thousandths
of a second from Scholtz and
Jacobsen, with Gerardo continu-
ing his superb run of form with
fourth—three-tenths of a second
off the win—and Stefano Mesa
(Tytlers Cycle Racing Kawasaki)
fifth, 1.8 seconds behind Scott.
In the title race, Jacobsen
has command on 131 points to
Scholtz's 119 and Blake Davis is
third on 66.
