Herfoss executed a textbook block pass on the last corner, but Wyman got on the gas perfectly and beat the Australian to the fin- ish line by just 0.039 of a second. O'Hara was third once again. "A hundred percent, a must- win today," Wyman said. "Usu- ally, you have kind of two shots at it. Yesterday, I was not comfortable, so I didn't feel like I really had a shot to fight for the win. I knew it was all eggs in one basket on Sunday. It's a mano-e- mano type of thing. I love it. I'm having the most enjoyment of my entire racing career, racing these baggers, and especially this year, racing Troy. It's a fan - Harley-Davidson and if Kyle Wyman doesn't win any more races, at least he took the "must-win" win in front of the bosses in the second Missions King of the Baggers race to stem the bleeding caused by In- dian's star recruit, Troy Herfoss. Herfoss took the two-lap Challenge race from Harley- Davidson's James Rispoli and had earlier made mincemeat of the field in the pouring rain of race one, crossing the line at a canter to win by 5.24 seconds from Wyman and Herfoss' S&S/ Indian Motorcycle teammate, Tyler O'Hara, but in the dry of race two, it was a different story. Wyman was at his dogged best, going toe-to-toe with Her - run for the line. It was so close, no one knew who won until halfway around the cool-down lap, with Scott getting the nar- rowest of wins, measured at an incredible one-thousandths of a second from Scholtz and Jacobsen, with Gerardo continu- ing his superb run of form with fourth—three-tenths of a second off the win—and Stefano Mesa (Tytlers Cycle Racing Kawasaki) fifth, 1.8 seconds behind Scott. In the title race, Jacobsen has command on 131 points to Scholtz's 119 and Blake Davis is third on 66.
