the overall win. With two wins
on the docket, he's 13 points up
from second placed Levi Kitch-
en in the championship points
standings.
"I
haven't had one of those
[crashes] since Mini O's," Deegan
said. "I came out of it safe, but all
I could think about was getting
back to my bike. I knew we had a
bit of a gap over Levi, but I knew
he was coming, so I was like, 'I
have to get back to the bike so I
can get this overall.'"
Tom Vialle came away with
second overall with a 4-1. "I

Haiden Deegan has established
himself as the one to beat in

stalked the leaders
for all of race one and secured
the winning pass on Chance
Hymas with just one minute
left. Just like last week, he got
up front again early in race two
and led the first 11 laps before
hitting the dirt in spectacular
fashion. Deegan got up quickly,
but the crash forfeited the lead
and moto win to Tom Vialle.
Still, a second place proved to
worked his way into second
by lap seven, where he would
remain for the next three laps
before he started drifting back
to sixth, where he would finish.
"I kind of used all my upper
body strength in the first part
[of moto two]," said Lawrence.
"I was feeling okay, but then I
got tired and had to use my legs,
and the strength just wasn't
there. I've got a chunk taken
out of my leg, so that affected
things. It's a bummer, but we'll
go back and recover and try to
come back stronger next week-
end."
