rounding out the top five. In the Sunday GP, Bagnaia made the early running from Acosta, the number 36 giving the World Champion plenty to think about in the opening laps. He made a lunge at turn 10 but ran wide, Bagnaia undercutting him for the lead. Jack Miller also had some fireworks at turn 10 on lap three, his one being his tumbling KTM as his wretched season continued. Martin was up to second at turn 10 a lap later, and into the lead a lap later at the same corner. Acosta was also through on until he threw it all away at turn five on the last lap. That promoted Espargaro into the lead and Marc Marquez (Gresini Ducati) eventually got past Acosta with three corners remaining, holding the rookie sensation to the line to take sec - ond as Espargaro took a dream home win. Fourth went to Martin who in - creased his lead in the title with Enea Bastianini (Lenovo Ducati) feel sorry for the youngster, who is really coming on strong in his second full season in MotoGP and has a certain Joe Roberts from Moto2 eyeing up his seat. Next it was Brad Binder's turn. The Red Bull KTM rider inherited the lead after Fernandez's crash, only to do so himself at turn five on lap seven of 12. Out he went, and into the lead Bagnaia went, with Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GasGas) breathing down his neck and Espargaro in third.
