KTM rider took the holeshot in
moto one and led early before
handing the spot over to Kitchen
and eventually dropping back
to third. An off-track mistake
resulted in a one-spot penalty
when AMA officials deemed
he had made up time while off
the track, and Vialle was later
and then in moto one, we were
going good all race until a track
marker got caught in my boot,
stabbed my shin, and so I had
to reach down and grab it while
Deegan was right behind me.
"In the second moto, I started
strong again and I got right be

hind Deegan. We battled the en-
tire race, and I finished second.
Ultimately, we are in a good spot.
I feel good and ready for some
more battles next weekend."

season," said Kitchen. "A 2-2 on
the day and there is a lot more
in the tank for the rest of the
season. I was happy to get first
