Jason Anderson crashed in race one but salvaged seventh overall with a fourth in moto two. Aaron Plessinger took third in race one but a first-turn crash in race two derailed his overall hopes back to eighth. Malcolm PAYING TRIBUTE Hunter Lawrence wore special yellow-and-green gear at Fox Raceway, part of an Alpinestars collaboration with the McLaren Formula One team, honoring F1 legend Ayrton Senna, who died 40 years ago. Lawrence did the look well by putting the bike on the podium in second overall. McLaren drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris sported similar liveries on their cars and suits during Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix. MotoGP racer Pec- co Bagnaia also ran the colors of the Brazilian flag in Catalunya to remember Ayrton. RESULTS-GATE The official results of the sec- ond 250 moto were delayed for more than two hours as AMA officials reviewed Haiden Deegan's off-track excursion. The incident was like Tom Vi- alle's off-track situation, and the KTM rider was docked one posi- tion. Had Deegan received the same punishment, Levi Kitchen would have been declared the day's overall winner with a 2-1. Deegan would've been second overall with a 1-2. However, after much deliberation, the original results with Deegan going 1-1 stood. Briefly...
