updates.
Honda's flagship bike, the
CRF450R, is essentially all new. Honda
focused a lot of attention on the 450's chas

sis and suspension, aiming to give the bike
a less rigid
and plusher feel. Honda says
the main frame is constructed of 70% new
components to "optimize rigidity and im
-
prove handling characteristics. The subframe
has new mounting points to
"optimize lateral
rigidity and reduce energy transmission from
the rear of the bike to the front." Both the
shock and fork have been updated, and the
