Paris Supercross To Celebrate
40th Anniversary
2
024 is the 40th anniversary year of
the Paris Supercross, which was
first held on March 14-15, 1984. It
will be "ready to rock" once again on
November 16-17 at the Paris La De-
fense Arena, the spacious multi-task
stadium that will be one of the homes
of the upcoming Summer Olympics
and welcomed Taylor Swift last week.
The promoter, Lariviere Organiza-
tion, has already secured the partici-
pation of heavy-hitters for the 41st
edition. Jett Lawrence, the new U.S.
Supercross Champion, reigning King
of Paris, and arguably the biggest
sensation in the world of motocross,
enjoyed his first experience in Paris
last year and will be back. So will his
brother, Hunter, who managed to get
a win over Jett last year on the Triple
Crown format and ended up second
overall for the weekend. Both Law-
rence's participation will be support-
ed by Honda's American and France's
divisions.
Cooper Webb, Malcolm Stewart
and Dylan Ferrandis are also sched-
uled to compete. In the 250cc class,
expect to see Tom Vialle, Jo Shi-
moda, and other top riders compete.
