unforced error in race one and
was determined not to make
the same mistake again in race
two. In a near replica of his
race-one start, Beaubier shot
off the line and into the lead,
pulling a five-bike gap by Char

lotte's Webb turn four.
It was all
looking rosy for
Beaubier but not so for Herrin,
who got his braking all wrong
for turn four and narrowly
missed taking out his team

mate, Baz. Off into the gravel
trap
he went, dropping the
Race one's podium was held under the media center in pitlane
after the heavens opened right as the race finished.
It was an up-and-
down weekend for
the Warhorse HSBK
Ducati team, with
both riders suffering
race crashes.
