s they say, it ain't over 'til the fat
lady sings. Her final notes were
belted out on Saturday night as the
2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross
Championship ended inside Rice-Eccles
Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. All three
titles came down to the final round, with
the 250SX East-West Showdown adding
another layer of drama to the mix. After
a suspenseful rain delay, a packed crowd
saw Chase Sexton and Haiden Deegan
take top honors at the season finale, with
Jett Lawrence playing it safe, finishing
seventh to wrap up the 2024 450SX title.
Since the summer of 2021, Lawrence has
won every championship in which he has
competed, and he has collected all six of
the AMA Championships that are currently
active. In addition, he earned the AMA Pro
Motocross Marty Smith 250 Rookie of the
Year Award in 2020 and now he also has
the 2024 AMA 450SX Rookie of the Year.
