Park, Washington, 50 years ago. It was a wet and grueling one that
Bultaco-mounted Mike Hannon won... Mike Bast continued his
winning ways in the Southern California Speedway racing scene.
He tallied his eighth consecutive victory... Marty Smith was one
of the big winners at the AMA MX Qualifier at Valley Cycle Park in
Moorpark, California... We showed our readers several of the exotic
bikes of the 250cc MX GP circuit, such as Joel Robert's factory
Suzuki and John Bank's Ossa.
