After dueling with Manuel Gonzalez (QJMotor Gresini Moto2) in the early stages, Al- deguer was able to put the ham- mer down at the front and take a relatively comfortable 1.2-sec- ond win. Behind, a charge from America's Joe Roberts (Only- Fans American Racing) saw the Californian slice up the order to duel Gonzalez over the final laps, coming out on top to take second, and those 20 points put him in the championship lead as the 18 of Gonzalez was forced to settle for third. Rounding out the top five were Sergio Garcia (MT Helmets – MSI) and Gonzalez's team - mate Albert Arenas.
