T
he 2024 Steel Commander Mo-
toAmerica Superbike Cham-
pionship results from Road
Atlanta 2024 was almost an exact
replica of 2023's encounter, with
Cameron Beaubier (Tytlers Cycle
Racing BMW) taking the first race
win ahead of defending champion
Jake Gagne (Attack Performance
Yamaha), with Gagne reversing the
order in treacherous conditions to
take the gold in race two.
But if the top two looked the same
as last year, behind them it was
all change. Privateer Bobby Fong
(Wrench Motorcycles Yamaha) put
in an excellent race one to take third,
only three-tenths of a second off the
win. Returning former MotoAmerica
Supersport Champion Sean Dylan
Kelly (TopPro Racing BMW) put in
a solid pair of top fives in his Su
-
perbike debut, and pre-race favor-
ites, the Warhorse HSBK Racing
Ducati duo of Josh Herrin and series
returnee Loris Baz, couldn't capital-
ize on their speed and left Georgia
much further off the championship
lead than they'd have liked.
