Today was good, though, espe-
cially after the break."
Sexton
looks like he's finally
figured out the new KTM as
he challenged for the win on
Saturday night. The defending
champ is enjoying a consistent
podium streak now, landing on
the box four out of the last six
races. His main event started
outside the top five, but Sexton
quickly made his way into a
podium position behind Roc
-
zen. The two training partners
battled for more than half
of the
race, all while keeping Webb in
two moved to number one in the
points, tying Lawrence for the
championship lead.
"The start was key tonight;
it was tough to pass," Webb
said. "I haven't led a lot, and it's
different up front. You just have
to know where you're fast and
where you're not, and stick to
that. I think tonight was hard
to pass; you could ride behind
someone, realize where they're
slower, and pick up on it. It's cat
and mouse. At this level, we're
all riding so well that if you start
up front, we can all go fast.

32 JUSTIN COOPER
8TH 450SX
Justin Cooper finished eighth after
making it to the main event through
the Last Chance Qualifier and suf-
fering a big crash in his heat race. "I
felt good all day," Justin Cooper said.
"Then I had a big crash in the heat
race that kind of hindered me the rest
of the night, but I'm just thankful to
walk away bruised and battered and
nothing more. It felt like it was shap-
ing up to be a good night for me, but
that changed quickly!"
46 JUSTIN HILL
9TH 450SX
Justin Hill ran inside the top five for
most of the race and eventually fin-
ished as the highest-placing privateer
in ninth. "Feels tremendous racing
healthy again; just need more seat
time to shake out the tightness. Re-
ally excited for Nashville. With four to
go I'm shooting for the stars."
MYOWNRACE
Webb (2) took the early lead
and never let go of it, but he felt
pressured the whole way.
