ROUND 4 / APRIL 6-7, 2024
TWENTYNINE PALMS MOTORSPORT COMPLEX /TWENTYNINE PALMS, CALIFORNIA
OFF-ROAD I PARTS UNLIMITED AMA NATIONAL GRAND PRIX CHAMPIONSHIP (NGPC), PRESENTED BY FMF
P80
(Left) It's been a hard road back
from last year's broken femur, but
Jon Ortner proved unbeatable
again in 60+ A, his third triumph
of the season. (Bottom) There's a
reason Maycie Schroeder wears the
number-one plate. She continued
her run of domination in NGPC Girls
Junior (9-12).
In Pro Women, Nielsen and
her Lava Propane/Pro Circuit/
Alpinestars CRF250RX got out
front early to make amends for
what she considered a disap
-
pointing runner-up at round
three.
"Glen
Helen was a bit of a
disappointment, given that it's
my favorite track, so I wanted to
come here and put down some
solid laps. I felt really good on
Saturday, so I knew today was
going to be good for me," she
said. "I didn't want to prove a
point but definitely show that
Glen Helen was just a fluke. I'm
super proud of how the bike
feels and how the team handles
testing. I'm excited for these
next couple of rounds."
Nielsen now has 10 points
over Silvestri, 115-105.
