a row. A podium in race one
marked his best result, with 3-8-6
scores pushing him just one spot
off the box.
"I was struggling throughout
the day," Plessinger said. "Then

He took over the lead on lap two
and led the remaining seven laps
of the feature race. His Kawasaki
teammate Reven Gordon crossed

Cole Davies, taking third.
ROCZEN'S
ROUGH RIDE
Ken Roczen had a tough night.
He was caught up in a second-
turn pileup in race one. He was
forced off the track but didn't hit
the ground. Unbeknownst to Roc-
zen, hard contact with another
bike in the pileup damaged his
radiator. His Suzuki survived the
race, but overheating caused
some power loss. Due to the
quick turn-around time, the Triple
Crown rules allow each rider a
spare bike. Roczen struggled in
race two, riding his back-up bike.
By race three, he had his back-up
bike dialed in and finished in fifth.

class. He's currently 10th in
overall points going into the
series' two-week-long break.
Aaron Plessinger crossed
up front in race one, but later
crashed out of the lead. Hunter's
best result came from race two,
in which he moved up to second
after penalties were dealt. The
technicality didn't seem to faze
the number 96.
"I was kind of thinking I'd be
around four or five [for the race-
three gate pick]," Hunter said.
"Then they called out Mr. Tomac
and then 96, and I was like, 'Yep,
we're not asking questions, just
go ahead.' We've been on the
