With confidence peaking,
race three again saw "The King
of Triple Crowns" get up front
early and go uncontested for all
14 laps. His 1-1-1 sweep makes
him the third rider ever to do so
in a Triple Crown format.

shown simultaneously. As a
result of jumping on a red-cross
flag, Lawrence was handed a

wasn't the only one. Several
other riders were penalized, as
well. Tomac, however, rolled the
jump and stayed out of trouble.

TOMAC'S ANKLE
Eli Tomac revealed he's been
dealing with more than just
bike-setup considerations in the
recent weeks. "The real story is
I tweaked my ankle about three
weeks ago and I haven't been
able to balance right either,"
Tomac said post-race. "Tonight,
that finally came around, too, and
my balance was back."
DOCKED X 5
Five riders received penalties in
the second 450SX main event for
jumping on a red-cross flag. Jett
Lawrence, Chase Sexton, Aaron
Plessinger and Cooper Webb
received two-position penalties,
while Jason Anderson received
a four-position penalty after he
jumped the jump twice on two dif-
ferent laps, once while getting the
white flag and once while getting
the checkered flag, both times
with the red-cross flag being
displayed. This certainly shook up
the points standings for the night
and was not well received by the
riders, saying they didn't see the
red-cross flag until they were
already committed to jumping.
