Walsh Not Ready
D
espite an impressive comeback after injury
at the Seattle Supercross, where he quali-
fied 13th for the 250SX West main event, Host
Grindstone Kawasaki's Dylan Walsh says he
needs more time to heal from an internal injury
that he suffered at the Anaheim 1 Supercross
that nearly cost him his life and will sit out the
rest of the Championship.
A team statement read: "Dylan had an
amazing preseason, and it's unfortunate he
wasn't able to show the work that was put in.
But we all know it's part of the sport. We will
keep plugging along and working on getting
stronger and race ready!"
Max Sanford will fill in for Walsh.

Road 2 Recovery
Launches Support
for Roberts
R
oad 2 Recovery has launched a support fund
for Clayton Roberts following his crash at
the AMA National Hare & Hound Championship
round in Murphy, Idaho. Roberts, the 2023 250cc
Pro-class Champion, went down shortly after
the start and was ejected off the bike at about
70 miles per hour. He sustained severe injuries,
including a broken clavicle, multiple broken ribs,
and fractures to his T11 and T12 vertebrae,
resulting in a severe spinal cord injury.
Unfortunately, Roberts still has no feeling or
movement below the injury, but he is now in sta
-
ble condition. Both surgeries to repair his spine
and clavicle have been successful. He now has
titanium rods, screws and plates stabilizing him.
For those who wish to show their support,
visit Clayton's Road 2 Recovery page. Addition

ally, Road 2 Recovery says it welcomes and
deeply appreciates messages of hope and
healing, which will undoubtedly uplift Clayton's
spirits during this challenging time.
