meetings to end BMW's 11-year winless
drought in WorldSBK after taking the
first race win in Catalunya. He backed
it up with a stunning Rossi-esque last-
corner pass on Alvaro Bautista to win
the Superpole race (shown here). The
Turkish legend is already proving to
BMW he's worth one of the highest-paid
contracts in WorldSBK history.
