Former points leader Max
Anstie seems to have lost the fire
since suffering a mechanical DNF
at the previous race, which ended
his chances of winning the 250SX
East title. Anstie, of the Firepower
Honda Racing Team, struggled
with bad starts and crashes,
resulting in 19-6-12 finishes and
13th overall. He's plummeted to
eighth in points, just two points
ahead of Honda HRC's Chance
Hymas and four ahead of Tri-
umph's Jalek Swoll.

Pierce Brown landed fourth
overall and finished as high as
second in the final main. "Fourth
overall, I'm not stoked, but not
mad about it after a rough first
main," Brown said. "The second
two were better with a fourth
and a second, so I just need to
eliminate those mistakes, and
we will get there. It was a good
way to finish the night in P2."
Coty Schock raced to fifth
overall after breaking his collar
-
bone just one week earlier. "I'm
so damn thankful
to pull that
one off," Schock said. "I came
into Indy just trying to salvage
some points, ended up feeling
better than I expected and just
riding my laps."
