KTM Unveils 2024 RC 8C

he third iteration of the KTM
RC 8C has just been un-
veiled. Limited to 100 editions
worldwide and available only
at KTM.com, the pre-order of
which will go live on March 20
at 15:00 CET, the 2024 RC 8C
uses a KTM 890 Duke-based
motor that pumps out a claimed
135 hp, wrapped in a 25CrMo4
steel tubular frame and running
a 43mm WP Apex Pro 7543
closed-cartridge fork and WP
Apex Pro 7746 shock.
Brembo provides the brakes
in the 19RCS Corsa Corta radial
brake master cylinders, orches
-
trating Brembo Stylema front-
brake calipers gripping 290mm
fully floating brake discs at-
tached to Dymag forged-alumi-
num wheels.
The electronics have also
been upgraded. The RC 8C runs
an AIM MXS 1.2 Race dash-
board and data logger with built-
in GPS functionality. Displayed
on a five-inch TFT screen with
continuous data recording capa-
bility, riders can use AIM Rac-
eStudio to scrutinize specific
performance metrics.
The RC 8C was developed
by Kramer Motorcycles and is
essentially a GP2-890RR with a
few extra carbon wings bolted
