Peters Holds Points Lead After
Daytona Doubleheader

ounds 12 and 13 of the AMA
Arenacross Championship
returned to Florida for a double-
header weekend inside the
Ocean Center Convention Center
in Daytona Beach, Florida, March
8-9. The series added to the ex-
citement of Bike Week as three
unique winners crossed the line
during the weekend's four main
events. In the end, Kyle Peters
and Ryan Breece split overall
wins as the championship
comes down to the wire.
The sandy racecourse
wreaked havoc for the riders one
week prior, which is why Peters
jumped up to the larger 450cc
machine for this weekend's race.
The choice for Peters paid off on
Friday night, as the bigger CRF
gave him the advantage off the
start. He grabbed the lead on the
opening lap and led the entirety
of main one.
Izaih Clark and Joshua Boaz
rounded out the box, while
Breece finished off the podium
in fourth.
Things didn't play out the
same for Peters in race two, as
he struggled to get to the front
after starting from the back row.
Meanwhile, Chase Marquier
bounced back from a crash in
race one and took the holeshot
