"I feel like my speed and spark were back today," he said. "It's not where I wanted it to be, but it's getting better. [I got a] heat-race win. It took me nine races to get one of those this season, which was good for us tonight, and then in the main event, I made a few mistakes and really just lost the race from there." MYOWNRACE 69 COTY SCHOCK 8TH 250SX EAST Coty Schock grabbed his first ever heat-race win before finishing eighth in the main event. He's tied for fourth in points, but the collision with Deegan left Schock with a broken collarbone. "All I can say is, 'Wow, what an awe- some day for myself and Club MX!' said Schock of his heat-race win. "To grab the holeshot and lead every lap in the heat race was incredible. I rode so well in the main as well, and I'm happy with how I rode. We all know what happened at the end of the main, but it's racing and got to move on. I knew he [Deegan] was there and even knew that he would try to make an aggres- sive pass. There was plenty of room and really no need to blast a fellow
