Peters Holds Points Lead After Daytona Doubleheader R ounds 12 and 13 of the AMA Arenacross Championship returned to Florida for a double- header weekend inside the Ocean Center Convention Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, March 8-9. The series added to the ex- citement of Bike Week as three unique winners crossed the line during the weekend's four main events. In the end, Kyle Peters and Ryan Breece split overall wins as the championship comes down to the wire. The sandy racecourse wreaked havoc for the riders one week prior, which is why Peters jumped up to the larger 450cc machine for this weekend's race. The choice for Peters paid off on Friday night, as the bigger CRF gave him the advantage off the start. He grabbed the lead on the opening lap and led the entirety of main one. Izaih Clark and Joshua Boaz rounded out the box, while Breece finished off the podium in fourth. Things didn't play out the same for Peters in race two, as he struggled to get to the front after starting from the back row. Meanwhile, Chase Marquier bounced back from a crash in race one and took the holeshot WIND IN THE P50
