stacked up, I knew I just needed
to execute my laps the best I
could to stay consistent. Tom
had a lot of pace in a few areas,
not just the ones I messed up,
so I found a few lines from him.
But I could feel Seth [Hammak
-
er], and I knew where he was."
Seth
Hammaker grabbed the
final spot on the podium, his
first of the season. The second
of two Pro Circuit riders fought
off the other podium heavy
-
weights for most of the race and
finished just
one second clear of
fourth and fifth place. Hammak
-
in the hardest rhythm section
shot
McAdoo off the track. This
allowed Vialle to slip through
while McAdoo rejoined the track
in second. From there, the run-
ning order was set, and McAdoo
crossed
the line five seconds
behind Vialle. McAdoo's now
second in points, just one back
from the leader, Max Anstie.
"I made those two pretty
significant mistakes in that
long rhythm lane when Tom got
around me and on the next lap,"
year was much more sandy and
felt like an outdoor track. I just
felt better than last year. I think I
holeshotted but crashed on lap
two or three. This year, I just felt
much better and am happy to
win."
Cameron McAdoo landed
second on the night, his sec-
ond podium in as many weeks.
The Pro
Circuit Kawasaki rider
looked to be the man to beat
as he kicked off the night with
another heat-race win and the
early lead in the main event. He
held the top spot for the opening
few laps, but a critical mistake
