Our Daytona '94 preview was featured in issue number eight 30 years
ago, which included interviews with Dale Quaterley, Larry Pegram,
Ezra Lusk, Rodney Farris and Larry Roeseler... We tagged along
with Mike Kiedrowski, who got to fly in the back seat of a Thunderbird
demonstration team's F-16 fighter jet at Nellis Air Force Base just
outside of Las Vegas... We tested Honda's CB1000... Steve Hatch
won the opening round of
the National Enduro Series in
Wickenburg, Arizona.
We traveled to the Eastern Creek Circuit to ride the all-
new Yamaha R1, which was pictured on the cover 20 years
ago... Kevin Windham cruised to victory at the Minneapolis
Supercross. Chad Reed came from behind to finish second
and David Vuillemin was third... We covered the Starcross in
Mantova, Italy. Stefan Everts took the overall win in the three-
moto-format race... Pat Garrahan won the National Hare
Scrambles in Hollister, California... Ty Davis won the Quicksilver
National Enduro.
