Dobbs to Contest 2024 Women's
Motorcycling World Championship
M
otoAmerica Supersport and
Super Hooligans racer Mal-
lory Dobbs has been confirmed
on the grid for the inaugural
2024 FIM Women's Motorcycling
World Championship.
The American will partner
Britain's Lissy Whitmore in the
brand-new Sekhmet Racing Team
headed by Australian motorsports
journalist and media personality
Maddi Patterson, who will be one
of the few female race-team own
-
ers competing in the FIM World
Championship competition.
"This is an incredible oppor-
tunity to compete on the world
stage," said Dobbs. "Over the
last few years, I've really put
everything into my racing, and I'm
really pleased it's being noticed
in Europe. I had a great season
in 2023 within the MotoAmer
-
ica paddock. Maddi is really
switched on as a team owner
and leader. It's going to be a huge
challenge against some fast rid-
ers, but I can't wait to get started."
Dobbs and Whitmore will cam-
paign Yamaha YZF-R7 machinery
in the one-make series that runs
alongside the WorldSBK Cham-
pionship, starting at Misano in
Italy on June 14-16 and conclud-
ing at Jerez in Spain on October
18-20.

For Trummer, the Jackson
Racing appointment is the culmi-
nation of eight years of grafting
at the TT in which he became
the fastest European to lap the
TT course in 2023, setting a
128.638 mph lap.
"I've put in a lot of effort in the
last eight years to get a chance
to ride for a prestigious team and
finally it seems someone has
noticed," Trummer said. "I'm get
-
ting the chance of my life and I'm
super happy and excited to start
working with the new team. I think
my motivation and determination,
mixed with their technical know-
how and experience, will enable
me to make the next step towards
the front. I obviously want to do
well on the big bike, but I think I
can also only profit on the 600,
and having Paul as a teammate
can only be beneficial."
