Smith looked to be a shoo-in
for the win, but two falls derailed
his race. Still, he remounted and
finished fourth on the night. A
fourth-place gives away the red
plate in the process but puts
him only four points back from
Kitchen.
"I got a good start in the main,
made the pass on Levi [Kitchen],
and then made a mistake and
went off track," Smith said. "He
got me back, and I passed him
