250SX West The 250SX West division returned to action in Arizona after their week-long break and RJ Hampshire proved to be the man to beat. The Anaheim 1 winner sat back in the opening laps while the two leaders diced back and forth. This allowed Hampshire to close in and be ready if an opportunity present - ed itself. Once Jordon Smith slid out on the hard Arizona dirt, Hampshire slid into the top spot and never looked back. This is the first season where week was rough, and I wasn't even sure that I'd be able to race this weekend, but we got through the day, and I'm just grateful that we have a scheduled weekend off coming up next week, so that should really help the heal - ing process a lot.
