Industry Legend Passes D arryl Bassani, the man behind Bassani Xhaust, passed away at the age of 80 at his home on Wednesday, February 7. Bassani Xhaust was found - ed in 1969 and quickly estab- lished itself as one of the top manufacturers of high-perfor- mance aftermarket exhaust systems for motorcycles as well as cars and trucks. He was considered a pioneer in motorcycle and automotive excellence. Bassani was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who left a positive mark on the motorcycle industry, and his company still pumps out quality equipment to this day. His legacy is one of in - novation, passion and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Bassani was inducted into the Trailblazers Hall of Fame in 2009, and he was also a member of the Hot Shoe Hall of Fame. Bassani and his trademark mustache will be greatly missed. CN WIND IN THE P20 Darryl Bassani founded one of the original aftermarket companies that specialized in high-performance exhaust systems for motorcycles. Rieju Announces Off-Road Team R ieju officially announced its National Enduro Team for the 2024 season over the weekend. The team will be made up of three riders: Logan Kittock, Land- on Beatty and Trent Whisenant. "We are excited to have Logan back with us for the second year in a row, showing the National Enduro fans out there what Rieju is all about," said Mark Berg, Rieju USA Team Owner. "Last year, ninth overall in the AA class and another overall championship title in the Border Battles XC Series is a testament to Kittock's hard work and dedication to the sport while showing the reliability and perfor - mance of the Rieju MR models. "Trent looks like he is ready to prove himself in the Pro2 class this year, reaching to grab a championship. Landon was new to the A class last year but catapulted himself to a champi - onship in quick time. This should be a great season to be a part of for all Rieju enthusiasts." CN Logan Kittock, Landon Beatty and Trent Whisenant (not shown) make up this year's Rieju AMA National Enduro team. Paul Robertson will manage the team.
