Klim's K Fifty 1 riding pants have the looks
and regular fit of casual five-pocket stone-
washed denim jeans, but they are made with
motorcycle-specific protection. They are
Klim's heavy-duty option in the riding jeans
lineup and are made with Cordura denim
that's reinforced with Kevlar paneling. The
tailbone area has impact-absorbing foam and
there's D3O armor at the knees and hips. A
quality YKK zipper is used at the fly, and the
knee-armor pockets are adjustable.

motorcycles that are ridden mostly on
pavement with the occasional off-road
excursion, the new Pirelli Scorpion Trail III tires
have dual-compound radial rears that use a
soft compound on the shoulders for cornering
grip and a harder compound in the central tread
band for stability, wear resistance and high
mileage. The front also has a harder compound
in the center area, along with a steel belt for
stability at high speeds. Alternating central
and transverse grooves provide grip for light
off-roading and the Trail III's are engineered to
minimize road noise for a quieter ride.
